I was hit last night in a minor traffic accident.

I was hit from behind last night by some twit on a scooter. A car in front of me couldn't make their mind up which lane they wanted so I backed off to give them time. As I'm slowly peeling my way between the two cars, I'm smacked in the shoulder and two teens come scraping down the side of the car. Not sure what happened to the first part of the video.

    Modified Versys

^^He was quite apologetic afterwards when we pulled over but only because he looked like a twat in front of his GF.

Had a Forza almost do that last week, but just as I was starting to pass the car.

He was cutting through at full throttle from an angle behind. and if I didn't brake to let him though he would have taken me out like a bowling ball.

    The reason:

I had the absolute audacity to overtake him 30 seconds earlier and he had to 'win' or fok us both up.

    Foking infantile retards.

Spent the day in the hospital in Chaing Rai. Grandson and grandma hit by a P.U. as they were pulling out of the bank on his motorbike. GS has a broken rib and internal damages. GM has head injuries and others not known as of now. Blood transfusions on order.

Sometimes a day out isn't like other days. PU driver not insured, Wat truck, no license, no plate and definitely no pockets to rummage through for compensation.

You're not bullet proof in Thailand.

Clearly you're being targeted because of the amazing work you do exposing the workings of the new world order. No doubt you were discussed at Bohemian Grove. Keep fighting the good fight and remember that in the end the warm-blooded will always overcome the lizard folk.

Actually Bubba, this didn't happen to me. Can you actually be this stupid. Seems you and your little friends just love to post up the small brain part of your existence.

As pointed out, wrong thread. Please stay on topic or else you may get jailed they tell me....

Thank you for the example of the kind of post appropriate to the motoring section of the forum. Perhaps you could let me know which part of it in particular was appropriate to this particular subforum, or perhaps you could just get back to talking wank about TOR? Up to you.

I remember being in my twenties and hitting a turn lane way too fast with my Honda 750F. Hit the median after squirreling around with the brakes but luckily no dent on the rim or me. Have come close to hitting cars in Chiang Mai but never made contact. Got some rim dents from slide offs in the hills though.

Actually considering giving up the bike, for the road anyway and just buy an off road, non road legal bike for my kicks. Too many close calls with the amount of riding I do. Only this morning came close to T-boning after a dumb twat pulled straight out in front of me. Problem is it gets my back up so I chased the fooker down and gave him a bollocking. He got out of his car wondering what he'd done and after I pointed it out he apologized. Felt quite bad after. Likewise, could have been a bullet!

But seriously weighing up the option of twats on the road VS my temper. I'm as calm as the next guy until some fool nearly runs me down!

Nope, he actually bounced off my shoulder. The only thing he caught on the bike was a camera bracket. I could have quite easily tumble into a passing car though!

riding for a long time around bangkok you are going to have an accident that may have serious consequences - it is inevitable

too many people doing stupid things will catch you out one day - I have personal experience at night and suffered a badly broken leg because of it and closely missed being run over by a truck when I dumped the bike - minimum 3 months plus exercise to recover lost muscle - just not worth it

stick to a car in the heavily trafficed areas and use a bike for the enjoyment away from the multitudes who can still hurt you very badly when they are on a bicycle

Me too, but it's just so convenient. Most places here have no parking available and the bike is nice in gridlock traffic. A lot like not eating certain foods, I know I should but..........

    This is off topic,

A vactor truck (which pumps out septic tanks for businesses) had a valve failure (AGAIN) on my Soi as they were leaving a business.

This resulted in about a 50 meter stretch of the street being covered in shit, piss and other sundry bits of human waste.. It turned it into an frickin' ice rink..

Motocy's were comin' down, hit the patch, started wobbling and so many people did face plants or spin outs ending up covered in shit. Cars were even swerving when they hit that patch, jammed on their brakes and slide thru it. Bicycles weren't immune either. I mean, it was slicker than snot on a porcelain doorknob!

Even the endless parade of tourists waddling down to Cabbages and Condoms were "slip sliding away".

I was laughing too hard to take a video, but fuck me, that was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while.

Finally a city truck came, opened a fire hydrant and hosed off the street. This morning, it still smells like shit but it ain't slippery..

You should have seen the thais expression as they got up off the ground soaked in shit, those were priceless! Some couldn't even get their motocy's off the ground until they pushed it off the "ice rink" as it just kept sliding out from under them and they'd fall again.

Sorry that was off topic, I just wanted to "share" was all. Carry on, as you were..

A little. But I lied about greening him. It was more a turn of phrase than an actual intention.
