    Mazda 3 Skyactiv

Mine was delivered today. seems to be an OK thing.

After driving pickups for the past 5 years the new position in a car feel like my ass is dragging on the ground.

2.0 @ 165hp seems to shuffle along ok but the gearbox feels like it is a huge rubber band being wound up. the manual mode makes that bearable though.

I came out of a store and put my key in the wrong "boot", "trunk", there are way way too many white cars on the road right now. You just need someone to keep the black one clean and shiny.

Due to our association with Mazda Japan (They Co-finance our Mazda 2 Race Cars with Mazda Thailand) I have just been delivered a prototype Maz 3 bodykit from Japan (Knight Sports).

Not too bad but am not overly keen on the wing.

Also started on the doof doof.

    Why ?

Is there an age limit on wanting to add some bottom end to a mediocre factory sound system that I spend 3 hours a day listening to (I like speed metal and dubstep, I need bass)?

But to answer your question, Iam over 40 hence the liking to keep the spare tyre. If I was in my 20's I would add the other 2 subs I have and say begone to the spare wheel.

I have the previous 2012 Mazda3 hatch with the 2.0L Skyactiv and find it brilliant. Mine's a stickshift, very nice shifter and clutch action. 30mpg in the city, 35+mpg highway (80mph with the air conditioning going full blast). I also race it in SCCA autocross "H Stock" class where it does very well. Mine has 35K miles on it and has been dead nuts reliable other than some warped brake discs, which are a wear maintenance item anyway. I think you will enjoy it.

Because the Thais struggle to drive an auto. God knows the havoc they would create with a manual.
