That white livery with olive stripe was very distinctive. Some friend's father had one, it was sooo coool at the time. I never got a ride in it. In Essex-speak it was always a 'Lotus Cortina', rather than the other way around. I guess that too made it sound more cool.

So no difficulty recognising a Lotus Cortina but what details let you see it is a second series?
