Yep Lambo Miura S, bit of a story goes with it.

Belonged to a Greek pop star and when it failed to start one day he parked it up in the underground car park of the Athens Hilton where it stayed for several years till it was put up for auction in London, failed to meet reserve price so still around somewhere.

Correct David, with a straight eight under the lid.

    Another friend drove round in one of these;

Humm ... it's left hand drive so I'll start looking at USA cars.

The wheels still have slight spokes, so that puts it maybe in the 1930's

    It's a 4 door, with suicide doors.

The headlights are not integrated into the front mudguards (fenders) ... so it's not late 30's.

Nor are the wheels a full spoke, so a guess is a mid 30's USA vehicle.

Those 3 windows and lack of a split windscreen makes me think it's a Chevrolet.

So, I'm going to suggest a circa 1934 Chevrolet, maybe a 1934/5 Chevrolet Master?

Hummm ... first up, congrats on braving the weather, you really must be a fan.
Through work, I had a bit to do with the Coolie Rocks predecessor, the WinterSun festival through the local Chamber,
but that was almost a decade ago.

    So, to the car.

    It's unmistakably a Lotus, late 70's/early 80's

The most obvious model is the Type 75 - Lotus Elite

    ---

But then there is the fastback version, the Type 76 - Lotus Eclat

The second set of bonnet (hood) vents in-front of the windscreen throws me.

Difficult to tell from the front shot.

I'll pump for the Type 75 - Lotus Elite though the Type 76 would be a rare find.

Sad to see the original wheels and side mirrors are not present.

    ^ Damm, now I'm nervous.

Certainly has the bonnet vents I couldn't reconcile.

Plus, the car in question looks like it hasn't front 1/4 glass and neither does the Simca.

    Bugger !

And the headlamp pods are square, on the lotus they are oblong, and the
Lotus has one central windscreen wiper, the simca has the more traditionsl double wipet arramgement.

Yes, after 2 weeks of blue sky from horizon to horizon the weathar closed in slowly over the CRO weekend.

How about this interior from one of the last punters to pack up his wheels in the rain?
