^No its an XT, the XR's were only made in any colour you wanted (as long as it's gold) and had the 289 in them.
Edit: After a 2nd look at the pic I see its a 2 door so it's not an Aussie GT!. Thinking it's maybe a Nth America or Sth Africa release??.
^ ^^ Close enough ...
1968 Ford Futura XT GT coupe tribute
Year: 1968
Make: Ford
Model: Futura sports coupe
Body: Coupe
Engine: V8 Windsor
This one was built close to when I was born (hint).
No cheating now
Same(ish) colour ... different margue
Still hugging trees (green) ... but a deeper hue.

Fecking forum format fecked me!
We had one of those briefly when I was a kid.
Actually it's the first car I remember our family having.
^I'm thinking you might have got a 390 (or bigger) in that model, but may well be wrong. Nice looking boat though!.
^ ^^
302ci Windsor
Any guesses as to what the beast is?
Looks bit like an early model Ford Fairmont but I didn't know they made those in a coupe?
This has got some age on it. Still road worthy. Bonnie and Clyde I reckon.
It look like a Ford Fairlane but I will go for 68 Mercury Comet.
Terry it looking at the wheel 1927 Packard
Terry's car looks like a 1930 Citroen c4
Here is the dash. I pictured it last week in Siem Reip. Used by a 5 star hotel. Amased me they had it in working order and parked outside.
