It's a MK1 after a bad paint job with MK3 headlights, bumpers & grill and MK2 or 3 seats. The wing mirrors are wrong too. The steering wheel is on the wrong side so has probably had some kraut pooping in it.

The red car that has you wondering is a 1960 Ford Starliner. An only one year body style that did not sell all that well. I had a white one in my youth which I paid $150 dollars in 1969. Drove it for a year and sold it for a $150. Least expensive and most boring car I ever owend.

    I presume you've never owned a Toyota?

The first car is 1957 Chevrolet. I seem to remember the BelAir to be two doors so then it may be a Biscayne but maybe that model came only the year after?

These kids were having fun. Leather tassels on a Vespa - you can quite see why it would be their preferred ride.

Pretty sure that's a Lambretta LI Series II mate....

Great thread, love old cars and you have some really good photos here, many thanks!

Thanks for the positive comments everyone.

I really know stuff all about many of these cars and even less about the bikes (BilboB I'm sure your right about it being a Lambretta). I had a great day just aimlessly pottering about amongst them all - especially after the first hour when the family decided to go home to spend the rest of the day watching Cartoon Network or suchlike.

Anyway, glad you all enjoyed the pics

Yep. Not sure about the seats though - I think they're just some generic after-market ones. (My first car was a 3.0 MK3 - still have fond memories of it, although cornering was always 'interesting'!)

    Nope. They're MkIII 'L' seats.
