Sorry folks. I've survived. Although, sadly, my business partner who collected me at LHR died the day after. So it's been a fraught couple of months. But life goes on. I've had my stents and a balloon; now working on building up cv fitness with a daily swim at local sea pool in UK.

Commiserations, L&F. And that's very sad about your friend. Also traumatic for you. I lost both my best friends 4 years ago within 6 months of each other.

Have you got a heated pool anywhere nearby, for when the colder weather arrives ? What is your alternative way of gaining CV fitness ?

Good news and sad news. Sorry to hear about your friend. Keep getting well yourself.
