    Can anyone help me

I am looking to buy a Thai tuition DVD. I was quite impressed with the short clip on this thread featuring Stuart Jay Raj. I can't find a DVD for sale online by Stuart Jay Raj. Maybe you lot can recommend a good Thai language DVD that incorporates similar learning techniques. As I have just come out of hospital from a major op, I have decided that I should really make the effort now with my Thai before I get back to my Condo in Pattaya in a few months from now.

All you best info and tips on this please fellow TD users is much appreciated.

If you wanna speak it move to a place where you have no choice but to learn it.

Learn to read it at the same time.

^ Indeed. Find a gf that doesn't speak or has any interest in learning English.

The by product is that that group tend not to have their heads filled up with shite from other farangs already.

^ This proved worthwhile for me too. Thanks forreachingme.
The leads within the site lead to this:
ITS4THAI Free Basic Thai Language Learning

For anyone like me who is interested in learning basic Thai language, I have found the following web site:

    www. its4thai.com

This site is completely free. Once you register your e-mail address, every few days they send you a lesson in which you learn new words, along with grammar and correct pronunciation.

I have found it very good.
I would stress, however, that it is basic, and would be of limited interest to anyone who already has a fair knowledge of the language.
    Cheers.

^(Someone commenting on the above) Several months ago one of our members posted about a company that was providing free Thai lessons on line. I studied their first 10 free lessons and found them to be excellent. The same company is now offering me 60 lessons for about Bt500 and of course i will take them. If anyone is interested in a very simple and fun learning system have a look at www.its4thai.com
BTW there is nothing in it for me - just sharing something that i have found to be good value. To learn how to speak Thai

BTW they have a large section on house building with pictures and entire sagas of how and why the houses started.

I found a book/package in Asia Books called 'Colloquial Thai that teaches you from basic thru to stuff you wont find in any 'guide book' type courses. The pack comes with 2 CDs and is easy to follow + teaches you to write Thai in its basic form. Not cheap at about 2000b,but its been worth it to me. I couple the main book outa this course with the Rough-Guide Dictionary to find lots of everyday verbs.

Official Rosetta Stone - Learn a Language Online - Language Learning

Well, so they say- but I find it's audio visual, interactive type format pretty easy to deal with. Theres usually a few pirate copies around in the various IT arcades like Tukcom too.
