hope all is going well as can be zeth, our doctor here found something on my girl at our usual check up, and she was immidiately booked in for surgery [last wed] at this stage they removed some lumps in the back passage area and have been informed now that they would like to have her back for more surgery and take a further look, due to suspect cells, so at the moment she is a bit tender and deffinately out for a horse/motorbike ride, though being the nice bloke i am, i keep offering, just keep positive mate and be as strong as you can they need our strength, so good luck mate

Will NEVER forget. In the Bangkok Phuket hospital I got the diagnosis lung cancer since I had chest pain for some time. Paid for the doctors, x-rays and CT scan about Baht 18000 - this was more then ten years ago.

Hopeless I went to a doctor in Manila with all the x-rays since the chest pain did not disappear and got even worse. He gave me 9 pills - Ibuprofen. I took them and all the problems were gone - it was an inflammation because of sweat and cold air. He was just laughing about the diagnosis and called it CT scam.

I could continue with other private hospitals here and extremely bad stories. My best and really perfect experience I had in Thailand with a government hospital here. They charged me - nothing at all. I donated some money because I was so impressed and they really helped me.

But the story does not end with the experience above. Because I took so many antibiotics when I had the chest pain (advice from other doctors) I got as side effect small white spots in my mouth - this they wrote in the paper coming with the antibiotics. My girlfriend at this time was a great DDr. in Europe and she sent me to one of the best doctors there. He said it looks like mouth cancer to him. He ignored my hint for the side effects. After cutting out all the white spots the diagnosis was - side effects from the antibiotics. I suffered a lot...you cannot imagine. Died 2 times!!! So I know how you feel with the diagnosis cancer. Just plan the next months and not years anymore.

My advice - do what you can to fight the cancer but always look AT LEAST for 1 other doctor/hospital and their opinion!!!

Here here! I had a similar experience. A quack in Sri Racha wanted to cut my balls off 'cos "You have Prostate Cancer,Mr".
Went to The Queens Hospital in Sattahip. A Urologist there said "No evidence of Cancer" after a biopsy......2nd opinion is a MUST!

Your prostate is not located in your testicles, Einstein. Perhaps he was talking about brain cancer?

just read about a cure involving eating peppers, capasian and jalenenos. No can not spell this but not joking, you do not want that. There was the whole recipe on how to eat these etc.

    Said this on TV.

I had a biopsy for prostate Cancer. The quack said no sign of Cancer......BUT
that doesn't mean it isn't there! I may have missed it. Bloody great eh?

Anyway as my PSA reading is a very high 17 (over 4 says trouble) I probably have the big C.

But fortunately it is the slowesy form of Cancer and I will probably die of a heart attack ('cos one of you gits are nice to me) before it kills me.

A recent trial in the States found that POMEGRANET JUICE slowed the development of Cancerous Tumours by quite a bit.

    Best wishes friend........

I saw a programme on BBC World last night where a British Doctor is treating prostrate cancer by putting what looks like an enormous pair of tweezers up your arse and zaps the bits of your walnut that has cancerous cells...Thus not effecting your ability to get a lob on or produce man glue...
