Thread: Health certificate for returning to Thailand (& other ASEAN countries)

How the situation changes!

As of this morning, now ALL incoming passengers MUST have:

1. a certificate to confirm they are not carrying the COVID-19 virus
2. a health insurance policy value minimum 100,000USD and specifically including COVID-19

These docs are checked by the airline BEFORE you fly. No have? cannot board the aircraft

In effect, Prayut has closed the airport without having to state that it is closed.

Both the test and the insurance are extremely hard to come by.

I am particularly interested in a previous comment on this thread which said that the insurance was easy to get for 900 thb, or something like that...

Specifically, who is offering that insurance and where can i buy it?!

....as far as i can tell, neither of these new requirements are easy to come by!

I suspect if that insurance was available a few days ago it either isn't now or has so many exemptions as to make it a legal scam.
