    Today's lunch.

Sunday roast for Sunday's, not. I do miss 'em.

But, meat is meat, and the missus thinks so too (), and just placed lunch upon me desk. What do you think?

About 40 baht from the market, she marinates the pork ribs in a garlic/pepper/stuff 'stew' then cooks them so they're crispy on the outside but tender in the middle. I do like 'em...

Doing ribs myself for tonight. Couple hours on low in the over with a rub on them. Then out and on the barby with the sauce. Made a cajun potato salad, and pinto beans and ham hocks. Hope the wife and kids get home on time. It smells so good it might not make the 3 hours.

Nice. Love this stuff. The missus does this expertly too. Goes lovely with beer.

Getting hungry now and just got me wedges parboiling and marinated chicken breast ready for grilling.

Mmm, you're luckier than me; I get it about once a month - worth savouring.

Hard to argue with a lamb dinner, especially in Asia. Super-delicious...

    Sounds very tasty indeed.

You're clearly a proper cook/chef, almost gay in your expertise (which is a good thing in the kitchen ). I suppose the bbq cooking gives them a different taste; not the deep fat heart killing burnt fat taste that I like...

    Yes.

See, we seem to be doing very well on the food stakes. Whatever you like, you can bring something together, especially if you're in one of the half a dozen or so quite Farangfied locations. These ribs can be had anywhere, and they work well... meaty, much more so than in the restaurants when your missus does 'em.

Lamb roast was a complete success, busy bar and everyone got stuck in. One very happy bulldog guarding the bone with his life. Sunday session is on, football in 20mins.

    Sundays aren't so bad...

Rack of lamb rubbed with sea salt, cheyene pepper, rosemary and olive oil then slow baked in the oven! There's something about a Sunday...

I do have my own little bedsit within my house, that's true; try to keep away from the others (excluding me 2 lovely new kittens).

I have learned over time to do a background check before posting any pics on TD coz these fokers will tear anything apart.

Also be careful if any body parts are in the photo. 2 examples spring to mind, that nasty spot on someones hand in the Thai Girls Knicker Thread, and the time that Kingwilly was taking a pic of his kitten on his lap just after he'd just shaved his legs.

My nose made it into a pic on another thread, and a few unsightly nasal hairs were swiftly pointed out...

(never been happy with the fan actually, it's a squeeker)

Got a bloody ticket on the way home... My fault for being in the wrong lane at a big roundabout, but...
