The best king willy, simply the best.
When I was young and single I would order 2 pizzas, 1 for that night and one to go straight in the fridge for breakfast and lunch the next day.
Speaking of leftovers yesterday breakfast and lunch was left over chicken and ceaser salad from the evening before. Delicious
News is what someone, somewhere is trying to suppress - everything else is just advertising.
^ agreed, when i was playing cricket in Thailand - I would always ensure I had a cold pizza for lunch break! (it takes planning - doesnt happen by accident - thats for sure!)
these days after coming home from a late night out - i often get the taxi to duck thru the McDonalds drive thru and order some spicy chicken pieces - so when i wake in the morning VIOLA - leftovers.
Tho, technically neither of those two items could be strictly considered left-overs since I do not always eat them at the time. but sometimes.
The ceaser salad was surprisingly good except for the soggy croutons.
Your right KW, leftovers do take some serious planning especially when pickled. Nothing worse then waking up after a night out and only having milk, sun dried tomatoes and fish sauce in the fridge.
Sausage casserole
Stuck with leftover mydamnself:
^ a bit more mustarf and peppers add tnat wouold be mighty fine!
Scrambled eggs on toast.
Yesterday a sausage curry leftovers I had made my self the day before.
Today either beef salad or larb neua (depends on the mood of the missus)
Every once in a while Ms. B and I will get on highway 2 and drive a couple of kilometers up toward Khon Kaen where there are two PTT petrol stations right across the highway from each other. I think they call them "PTT Park" or something like that. They have 7/11's, Amazon Coffee, a souvenir shop, clean restrooms and plenty of food stalls where you can get typical Thai food. You know the sort of place.
We each had a plate of khao moo daeng for 25 baht each. They came with bowls of clear soup. Then we walked over to the 7/11 noting all the out-of-changwat license plates: Mukdahan, Kalasin, Nakhon Phanom, Krungthep, etc. We bought two cans Pepsi Max at 7/11 and drank them on the drive home. Ms. B used the free straw but I like mine straight from the can (tin).
Quite a thrilling lunch date for me and Ms. B.
(Of course, us experienced world travelers just aren't satisfied with the ordinary or mundane.)
home made (by me) casserole
Four chicken Taquitos with guac and sour cream. The ol' lady had Huevos Rancheros. the look on her face when they brought the plate, priceless . Feelin sorry for her I had to teach her how to eat all that food, after I demonstrated with the firs 60 - 70% she finally figured it out
As I type I am tucking into fish fingers and potato rosti with baked beans (cold) and a pitta bread...that's pitta bread and not a-bit-of bread for those of you hard of hearing....NB: the baked beans are cold because I am lazy.
I didn't manage lunch, as I was too busy, but this evening I had a feta & fish finger sandwich on decent bread with mayo. It was fekkin' great.
now that just sounds horrible, maybe u should go back to your 7/11 meals.....
me a quick visit to Bintaro Plaza (its pretty dire!) food court had a resteraunt called Hot Planet... thought that might be ok then. I had sizzling black bean steak and rice, the missus tried the tom yum talay ... we asked the waitress for it to be extra hot......
fuck me it tasted like boiled hot dog water!
just does to show that only thai's can cook thai food properly! (and prolly FF)
I had a chicken pie with roast potatoes, swede and carrots for mains and after that a couple of mini bags of Haribo sweets, a big bowl of rice pudding, a slice or two of Christmas cake (how I've missed you so), a banana, some grapes and a Mars bar.
Yay high metabolisms!
I had sauteed potatoes and fishcakes, with some bread and a lump of Fetta.
Bladdy lovely.
I had a ham, cheese and tomato sandwich on whole wheat bread. I had intended to buy a nice whole wheat baguette at Yamazaki yesterday, but when the clerk rang it up she punched in 3 @ 32 baht for a total of 96 baht. Hell if I'm gonna pay 96 baht for a loaf of bread. What sort of scam was she pulling here?
Yesterday I was mostly eating, Khao kah Moo
I only go to this one place to eat this dish because its delicious everytime
No lunch today. I may grab a choccy milkshake later though.
beer, lots of it.
What for lunch? Does this mean by late this arfo you will be posting bollocks?
I had carrot and clery sticks and 2 pieces of cold left over home made slices of pizza.
Would you notice the difference?Originally Posted by MeMock
Jacket potato with tuna mayo I should imagine - it's what I have most days at work. I always have a laugh with the canteen ladies', Me again, I'll have a jacket potato with tuna mayo please dinner lady' I'll say in a comedy voice 'Fck off you bore' they'll reply.
Back off Margaret, you're on a sugar rush!
