Thats how a kebab is supposed to look, grease dripping out of it and crushed up as though you have had it in your back jeans pocket for half a day, I realise that Australian culture is extremely limited, but you must have seen kebabs on tv beforeOriginally Posted by kingwillyhggtb
dunno - the kebabs i always had were safely wrapped in teh pitta bread,
i certainly would never wanna stuff one in my back jeans poicket u big wierdo, perhapsz thats a brit thing....
kebab for lunch?
i thought they were only for after the pubs shut
Well it was carefully wrapped in pitta bread, but that wouldn't have made a good photo, so I opened up the beast.
Kebabs can be eaten at anytime of the day, obviously the later in the day means more chili and onions
Loaf of granery bread with some cheddar cheese and Branston Pickle... That's right - Branston Pickle. HK 1 BKK 0

Good Gawd I wish that wine was actually served in a 21oz glass!

Couple of days ago this was and I got loads more in the freezer, not as spicey as they should be, but pretty good for samosas.
Cheddar and Ham on toast sandwiches... AND great homemade dill pickles... NO NEED for Branston's.

There's never any need for Branston's - awful shite!Originally Posted by El Gibbon

Bransons is after, Aston Martins the only good thing to come out of the UK. Its so good it almost makes up for their 'orribíle beer.
There can’t be good living where there is not good drinking
^Chateau de cardboard.Wish we could buy plonk like that here without paying through the nose!
^ Bit of a wine glut here in OZ I picked up 12 bottles of a SA Cab Sav cleanskin for less than 2 dollars a bottle, it turned out very drinkable.
In fact at the moment you can pickup reasonable wine for less cost than beer.
Don't we all wish that, wine in Thailand is usually crap, overpriced or, quite often, both.
I used to drink wine almost everyday, now I cannot afford to.
Same here and it's one of the few things that really irritates me about living here.Originally Posted by mrT
I just got back from a month in California where you can easily buy very drinkable wine for two or three dollars a bottle. Here you spend ten to get something that barely goes down.
Salmon curry foking lovely.
Taiwanese noodles!
chicken green curry on mash potato.
Sausages, bacon and poached duck's eggs. Yummy. Just need a pint of English beer and I'll be sorted.
