I like to travel and eat in Malaysia. I enjoy Penang and the hill stations. This year I went back to the Cameron Highlands after about a seven year stretch.

Too cool it already had great Indian food but now all the shops have tandoors as well, and they compete for the same set meals. This time the special was tandoori chicken, either a breast or a leg and thigh. Small curried veggies, dhal, and a big nan for 70 baht. That is cheap and so damn nice.

7/11 food is grossly underestimated you can't beat a couple of 22 baht cheese and ham toasties on your way home at 3 in the morning after a good night on the piss.

Well it seems that 7/11 is expanding their range of snack foods, had a look yesterday and they got a load more different hotdogs, will there be chili dogs in the future from 7/11?

Anyway this is a bacon and cheese spicy burger, couldn't taste any cheese but it was quite nice for 22baht.

Last night in Jomtien was a bit of a disaster though, 30baht for a slice of Neo Pizza, now some of these pizzas are actually edible, but if your first experience of eating anything Teriyaki flavoured was one of these pizzas you probably would avoid it for the rest of your life, is teriyaki Japanese for soggy gooey cardboard flavoured food? Because that is how you would descripe this pizza

Hey! Give the man some time.
It takes years to clog up arteries. It all works on the inverse square law. As your cornary arteries clog up with the shit you eat you don't notice it till its too late.

Fok this evening was embarrassing, off I went to 7/11 in Jomtien, smokey pork bite hot dog at 12baht sounded a good deal, wanted a chicken one as well, sadly no chicken though, so she offers me 3 pork ones for 30baht, now these hotdogs are okay for a snack, but who the fok in their right mind would eat 3 of them, she then offers me 2 for 20baht with as much salad as I can cram down my neck for free, hell I went for that, trouble is Thais don't eat mustard, got the ketchup on my dogs, bit of mayo, but the mustard wouldn't come out, decided to have a look at the squeezy bottle to see how to open it or turn it on, saw that the end was blocked with congealed gunk, squeezed it a bit harder, and harder, and harder then the foking stuff shot out and foking went everywhere, foking on their poxy ceiling and bloody every where, even got the poxy stuff in my hair............

Salad is what you feed your livestock on to make it taste nice for human consumption, sheep eat green stuff, Kiwis have sex with them, then they are eaten, the sheep that is not the Kiwis.

Foking unbelieveable, a 5 page thread on eating out at the poxy 7/11, when I started this thread I think they had like 6 different hotdogs and a couple of burgers, jees, they even do toasted sandwiches now, but I don't like toasted sandwiches, couple of hot dogs would go down well now though

Try a vacuum packed brown boiled egg from 7-11.... Not the flavour you would expect for an egg that looks like that... Took me by surprise anyway... And I'm not easily surprised...

    Crab sticks... I love them:

I believe crab sticks have to be called the odds and ends bits of fish nowadays in the UK due to not having any crab in them, although the flavouring and chemicals they use do taste nice

Anyway a couple of nights ago it was a cheese bite hotdog and a smokey, got to admit I am getting to like these.

This thread should be titled 7Eleven Cuisine. Stuff like this is getting to be a normal part of the Thai diet in cities. Where is this country going to. I eat it too. I just have no other choice where I am. It sure would be nice to live near a large market with other choices. There are now 4,402 stores in LOS. Is there any hope?

NEO pizza; never forget a mate on a six day jaunt here who bought enought packs to create a whole round pizza and then eat the lot
