...on Ekkamai, soi 12 connected to Pesca through a side door...a delicious birthday lunch to launch my 6th cycle:
...freshly baked bread to accompany the salade Nicoise and salmon tartare starters: both tasty, but the creamy blue cheese/garlic/capers dressing for the salmon overpowered the fish; a delightful pappardelle in tomato/basil sauce topped with a burrata cheese (excellent!) and an eggplant and salted ricotta pizza (thankfully, no layer of mozzarella): the crust was satisfyingly chewy while the topping was light and flavorful. It was a struggle, but we decided on the tiramisu cake for dessert: wonderful! Accompanied by 4 glasses of a Cote du Rhone red and water: B2,900. We're paying a return visit soon...birthday flowers presented before lunch definitely brightened the condo...
