    Creperie: Paragon Ground Floor

    ...towards the back of the building. A light lunch that was satisfying, but not particularly interesting. The onion soup had all the right ingredients, but ultimately lacked depth of flavor. SD's tuna steaks were good, particularly with the accompanying lime-herb sauce, while my scrambled eggs on a crepe with smoked salmon, mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese were an enjoyable combo. Desserts were variations of strawberry/whipped cream crepes: light and flavorful. The restaurant was out of red, so I made do with a forgettable rose. That lapse, particularly within near walking distance of the Paragon's well-stocked wine shop, probably means we won't return: a bkk restaurant needs a more efficient business model in such a competitive environment. B1,800 with 2 glasses of wine and black tea...
