How do you store them?

Sunny side up ,

I'm here in UK at the moment, so they're kept on the worktop next to the toaster.

When in Thailand they live in the fridge.

In a cupboard now ,, but in a previous life in the fridge ,, come to think of it eggs are about the only thing my new wife does not keep in the fridge

In the fridge. Too hot here in CM now to leave them out.

What is the best way to store eggs?

Buy refrigerated eggs and store them in the refrigerator as soon as your get home. However, even under refrigeration, eggs slowly lose carbon dioxide, which enlarges the size of the air cell and causes the yolk to flatten and the white to spread.

Fridge; last for ever; if they do go bad then it's a treat for the missus and her mother...

BTW think yourselves lucky around £ 1.25p for 6 here in the UK now thats nearly 120bht !

in the fridge, dunno about eggs but apparently fruit lasts a lot longer in the fridge, especially with my padlock

In sailing days, pre-refrigeration, (or today if no fridge) sailors dipped them in wax, seems to have worked pretty well.

I have two, but a lesser-educated mortal might try and refer to them as "cupboards", not realising that the reason they were called "cupboards" in the first place is that they were used for storing crockery and other glassware.

Excuse me, but a "pantry" is a walk in room where food and ancillary supplies, including crockery and linen are stored. A "cupboard" was indeed a place were cups were stored.

Question was asked who the hell has a "pantry" - a walk in room. Not who has a pair of cupboards.

A cup board was a board with hooks on to hold the cups and later was enclosed with a door on .
