Yup, that's a possibility, with cities and tourists areas running out of space, and becoming overpopulated.

New expansion areas are probably on the agenda.

thanks just interested if you'd came across such a situation.

I asked a guy yesterday,he got full value and they put in a drainage system for him as well,which surprised me.

May be he had Chanote titled land which is probably why he got the full value and so he should. But full value to who's valuation? What title was the land if not Canote because in theory, if not Chanote title then he didn't own it 100%? All info helps.

With bugger all else to do today I looked around on some property sites up north and the same unit in the same condo went for 7% higher than what I bought it for 11 months ago.

I found it because we bought some un-titled land from a relative and where told we had to wait four years before we got the chanote.

Which we have now,they went around it by saying the relative where giving a gift to wife,something to do with the chanote charges.

If they said we where buying it we would of had to pay 16,000 baht but ended up paying 6,000 can't really remember all the details it was a mind field to understand.

Chico, you're going to put money into something at your age that won't be legally yours?

I guess my first question I would ask myself is: How much do I trust the wife and her family? Are they going to fuck me over when I put the money down with the land in their name?
