I would bet its Lao Khao for drinking, I've never seen them sell gas in small bottles, I have only seen Hong Thong and Samsung bottles with 1 litre in them- 30 -50 baht depending on location

Try poking your head into a Thai village store. Many things available from food and drink through live and dead "animals". Some of course are, "fresher" than others and priced accordingly.

I've found pointing generally works, if you don't know Thai language well.
