    American Warning Pamphlet 1944

The Allied/Americans would drop these leaflets along the Siam-Burmese border, where heavy Japanese infrastructures were targeted, allowing the locales to relocate. They usually read to stay away from bridges, roads, Japanese compounds, etc. Notice the Burmese script.

    Student Demonstrations 1957

Field Marshall Sarit Thanarat taking control of student demonstrations against the election methods of military dictator and PM Phibun Songgrom. FM Thanarat served as PM from 1959-1963. Just a contemporary history of rotating military regimes....up to the present. Military presence into civil Thai politics is historic.

    RFK in BKK 1962

The first in many visits to Thailand to gather support for his Brother's covert activity in Laos and Vietnam. About this time {'62-'63}, America and Thailand came into their agreements to have more American military personnel and bases on Thai soil.
