I know you've posted this one before 'cos I used to work on Charoen Krung and commented on it the last time I saw it!

What I didn't notice last time is the sign at the hairdresser's saying "toilet saloon."

What on earth is that fetish?!??!??!

Did the sale of tobacco and cigars along with a haircut lead to it being labelled a place of ill repute hence use of the word "toilet saloon" as opposed to just a regular "saloon?"

And shouldn't it be a salon anyway or is saloon just the English version of salon (although I've always seen it spelled salon unless it was in a bar- saloon)?
