I haven't spent anything today, but the wife went to the market and spent 150 bht or so.
Yesterday was a bit of a blow out though, treated three people to a nice meal with a couple of bottles of wine & brandy. Probably around a 5000 bht day.

umm, no, no, no. i employ her to cook clean and shop.

she's old, frumpy and little overweight - hence she knows exactly wot her job is and does it well!

(including a wake up knock on my bedroom door if i sleep thru the alarm!)

Unbelievable! 6.5 baht. I remember those days. Well, that 45 baht lighter quit working already. The flint flicker roller thing jammed. So, I went to the Loonie store and got 2 lighters for $1.13 (.13 in f** taxes), so about 16 baht each. Ha, get em home and what does it say on the label "Made in THAILAND". They better work until all the gas is gone. I guess they cost more here because they have to paddle them across the Pacific and then put a warning "KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN" on it in English and Quebecois, and "100% Guaranteed/Garanti", so I guess that's at least an extra few baht.
Cig prices just went up 10% too, so basically one pack is the same price as a carton of L&M dang.
So, I spent about Bt2,132 plus 75 for a big mac and coffee (2 cream free).

OK. What colour were my stilettos? Thong? Dress? Nail varnish? Was I wearing a snake ribbon or snake band?
