You'll find that most towns/villages in Scotland have small hotels/Inns, and of course it depends on what route you're taking. You should be around the Central Region at the end of today, probably around the Glasgow/Edinburgh corridor area. Not particularly a tourist area until you get further north of Stirling and into Perthshire for example.

At that distance, you'll be pretty close to Glasgow or Edinburgh, depending on which route you've taken. There are some nice rolling hills for you to enjoy on the way. Nice rides on a motorbike.

Did you go through Langholm (the Muckle Toon) and up past Hawick, Selkirk and Galashiels on your way north? Or Lockerbie, Beattock and Moffat?
