You can, but what's the fun in it? Nothing more to whine about.
But seriously. Occasionally there are astronomic observations that get spoiled by the trains.
The next generation, to be launched in a few months will be much darker in any phase of their life. SpaceX are doing their best to minimize effects on astronomy. But only minimize, not completely eliminate. Astronomers will need to do their part in minimizing effects.
BTW Hubble telescope.
I was at the Dornier Museum Friedrichshafen. They had a piece of Hubble instrument on display. Our guide told us it is an engineering model of a Hubble instrument. It looked very real so one of our group started digging for it. He found out it was not an engineering model. It was a piece of equipment that actually has flown on Hubble. It was replaced on one of the Spaceshuttle repair missions and returned to Friedrichshafen. A real piece that has worked in space.
