^ Me, too. I was wondering exactly where that mall is. If in the area, will make it a point to go.

Let me try. Taken from a head on angle from far way with a powerful zoom. Foreshortening effect will do that.
I'd like to see it taken from the side.
Still steep I'd wager but not as steep as those pics would suggest.

    Sounds about right.
Check the angle of the oncoming cars. If it was as steep as it appears then the angle of the cars would almost be an over-head view.

Grade is 6.1% which is 3.5 degrees. Twice plus the Rama 9 bridge.

^^^^ Looks like they added a little chicane or kink on that slope. Perhaps trying to reduce the speed a la formula 1. Not sure that will do much good.

Imagine having a bridge with a slope like that in Thailand. There might be a brake failure or two (per day) there.

A Banyan is a fig that starts its life as an epiphyte (a plant growing on another plant) when its seeds germinate in the cracks and crevices on a host tree (or on structures like buildings and bridges). “Banyan” often refers specifically to the Indian banyan (Ficus benghalensis), which is the national tree of India, though the term has been generalized to include all figs that share a characteristic life cycle.
