Never seen a cockroach here. Rarely see ants. Geckos though... Presumably that's why there are no ants.

To keep ants away from our cats food we put a saucer of water down and place her food bowl in the saucer. She never has any ants get to her food.
So the solution is build a moat around your house it will be ant free after you evict the local inhabitants.
Fascists dress in black and go around telling people what to do, whereas priests... more drink!
I’ve been frantically cleaning and wiping and mopping as well as putting out the diatomaceous earth. They are running amok and getting into sealed containers.
to get rid of ants, buy some slow-acting poison bait, if you dont like the idea of chemical stuff then a mixture of sugar and borax might work. the worker ants carry it back to the nest to kill the queen.
baits will work on the colony, and then use white vinegar and water to thoroughly clean the trails, and seal obvious entry points around pipes etc. to prevent new ants from entering. and you need to be OCD level obsessional about not leaving even a tiny crumb of food on any utensil, jar, work surface or floor of the kitchen.
