That's not too bad for a one wayer these days. Enjoy the flowing vodka and have a good trip.

It's economy class sadly, so will be a dry flight- the food is pretty decent in all of Aeroflot's cabins, so not all doom and gloom. Off topic, but ever flown Garudua business?

On my morning run with the three Bangkaws they invariably dive into a klong along the way to cool off & then, shake that nasty water on moi like it's Songkran already! Too fast for me to get ahead of them.

I luv 'em, but it's long overdue to either round them up for despatch to a farm, or a cull. Couple of days ago a pack of soi dogs picked off and cornered a kid behind Rompho, she was hysterical and whoever she was with froze, fortunately some locals and farangs heard the commotion and rushed in from two sides giving them cause to disperse. Wifey still has a foot scar from being attacked while on a mosai, and I'm sure they've been responsible for far worse.

daytime usually not so bad, it's hot and they're docile, but come evening when it cools and they get hungry and angry...!

Requires an open season on this lot.
Even though not being terribly Buddhist in presence.

In rural Thailand the dogs are used to guard property while the owners are out working. Fokking nightmare for cyclists.

wtf haven't the local gone out there with tasers etc and killed the fookin' lot of them. Or leave an even less satisfying rat poison in meat snack for them.

International School Moan: Schedule is disarray as the kiddos need more Mongolian language lessons as their English tends to be stronger.

    Rumble strips...

...what the actual fuck is up with those?!

Sorry but if you need alerting to the fact that there's an under/overpass, intersection or corner coming up then you shouldn't be driving in the first place/

No doubt an unintended consequence, but if you can't avoid them then minimise the racket by taking them at speed.

Or drive on the wrong side of the road for a much quieter ride.

Is it just me or are we doomed?

Last evening riding through Rompho for a meet I noticed a bunch of cables on fire at the lower end of a pole with more bunches of cable higher up. Took a quick vid while hooting to alert the locals, a young lady noticed the fire and started yelling at which point others came along to watch as I popped over to bars at which I am known looking for an extinguisher. Eventually found one, they asked what for, I pointed to the bystanders and a few shouts in Thai confirmed there was a fire, hence extinguisher, whereupon I was informed that yes they do have an extinguisher but I mustn't use it because those cables belong to the electric co and 'police come take you jail'. So I shrugged and got on with my life! Been shrugging quite a lot lately.

A very very good thing they are too, for Thailand.
Ant, they have them in NZ too, but along the sides of the roads so you don't swerve off track.

Just a heads up ... if that Fire Extinguisher that the Bar had was water based, it would be the worst thing to spray on an electrical fire.
