Dangerous advice Dr Luigi. It depends upon the level of drinking, and the specific antibiotic.....

I had tennis elbow last year that lasted for six months. Physio didn't help (made it worse actually), and two months of rest was the only thing that eventually made it go away.

Pretty sure it's bursitis, as I had a graze on my elbow, then we had Sonkran, a lot of water and leaning on bars..

    So basically an elbow infection.

It's not improved much through the night and I don't recall actually getting much sleep.

Clinic today, not looking good for a bike run tomorrow.
    Lang may yer lum reek...

So the Doc took one look at my elbow and said “abscess”. Then I was whisked away to the nurse who gave me a anesthetic shot and the Doc came in, cut me open and squeezed out the shit. Along with 20 penicillins and 20 Tylenols for the pain (wankers) I was free to go 1,500 baht lighter. In and out in 30 mins.

Might be ok for a bike run tomorrow.

    Good that's sorted.

Be careful when a Thai doctor does this:

My first world moan is that i am regretting buying a place with a west facing sea view, the sun is a killer after 5pm, really accentuates the crows feet - i sit squinting at the TV looking like a chinky until i get up and draw the curtains.

Never mind the sun, the clouds will be back soon enough. And the rain will likely usually come from the west, so you'll have that to look forward to heading your way.

What is on the TV that is better than sitting out looking at a sunset into the imaginary sea?

Firstly jealousy is so unbecoming, secondly if i took your suggestion of staring into sunsets i won't be enjoying them for long and lastly you need to go to bed you dirty stop out

    Aint that the truth.

    The other one was:

Dentist - So I'm going to book you in to have your wisdom teeth removed.

Dirk - Jesus, what's wrong... with all 4 of them?

Dentist - Yeah but they might cause you problems in the future.

Dirk - All my teeth, my eyeballs, my prostate and my spleen might cause me problems in the future so lets just leave them all where they are for now and cancel that appointment.

    That was at Bangkok Hospital.

10 years later I still have all my own teeth and only 1 filling.

I have a very old friend who also went, yet he reported that he had a great day that exceeded his expectations.
