Why are the cnuts in the village such selfish ignorant twats. Deaths, weddings etc etc are a signal that you are going to have your earwax blasted out of your ears from 5am till 11pm or later over the next few days. They couldn't give a fcuck if someone in a nearby house is dying or children wanting to sleep. The music will be played at full volume. It seems to be mandatory. I'm not against people enjoying themselves but why do they have to be so fcuking LOUD?

Could be like in other parts of the world, the belief that noise drives away evil spirits.

But you're right, it happens even in peacetime, the louder the better. I often hear Thais arguing, and on second glance turns out they're just happy faces chatting. And the TV, don't get me started on the TV! And those bloody road slabs that don't fit...!

It seems that it takes forever and a day to do the simplest things in Australia these days. Often you have to take a couple of steps backwards before being able to go forwards.

When I do finally get through to government departments, I am really sick of having people not listen to me, but instead talk right over the top of me, mid-sentence. And I am not a long-winded person....I state my case clearly and concisely. It is so utterly disrespectful and belittling to be on the receiving end of this. But it has happened so many times.

I know they are all overworked, but there is no reason to have such a lack of manners and respect for customers.

My work computer got fried yesterday. Now I have to use my own laptop, but all the files that I need are on my now fried 'puter. And the bloody IT department is not interested in paying my office a visit to find out if the computer (or at least the files) can be salvaged.
