If I don’t leave the USA soon, I will need a psychiatrist.

Also, I won’t be allowed to ride on a donkey when I finally get to Santorini.

Trying to get our travel bag down in weight maximum for the two of us 2.5kg. Gert is not helping out will take some stuff out when she is sleeping .My luxury item 250g of coffee is not expendable. Not sure what her luxury item is going to be flying back, certainly not going to be 1kg of curry paste.
Fascists dress in black and go around telling people what to do, whereas priests... more drink!

The apartment is stuffy, but AQI is 219 tonight, I guess the window will remain closed.
Winter may be coming, but Monday coming is more of an imminent cause of moderate gloom.

It got up to 999 a week and a bit ago, that was so bad you could taste it. Apparently, a reading like that means the machine can't go any higher, so it was probably more than 999. The effect on health is no joke, one of my second graders has missed close to a month due to pneumonia and complications and the pollution isn't even "bad" yet.

Mandy, it can't be worth the long term health impact. I used to go ballistic at our neighbours burning plastic which we all know just yields puzzled smiles in Thailand and depending on the situation, ideas detrimental to your health. One night we took some whiskey around and had a nice evening explaining the reason burning plastic was bad i.e. cancer et al. Message received and unbelievably still no burning. The only way for you to get the same result is to leave....unfortunately.

Arrived back home on Wednesday and made a mental note about having a good moan about something. Now I can't remember what it was so I'll moan about getting old instead. We managed door-to-door from Germany in under 20hours, which was good, and arrived in time to gather the rice harvest and a bit of threshing before bed.

Perhaps the thinking is that nobody would be around to read it?

I'm surprised, you being an ameristani. I get the impression that you all have a private Gulfstream G650ER on 24/7 standby.

I worked abroad for a big chunk of the 2000’s and when I came back to blighty’s sainted shores, not only did I find that most women looked like they’d been sat on a tyre inflator, they had also turned an odd shade of orange in the places not already covered by tattoos. That I can deal with as my romantic radar is not turned to these shores but what I really hate and seem to be unable to avoid is walking into almost any shop and having various assistants eager to take your money and who I've never met refer to me variously as Buddy, Mate, Chap or Fella. I know its banal but ...............Fuckin zero hours contracts…………. social media surfing fuckwits..

Yes but only when i've got me Fedora on and could be construed as a bit ageist.

Looks like Moustaches are back in but is one allowed to approach the fairer sex and bellow "Free Moustache Rides" in this #MeToo brave new world?.
