lovely, as always
Great stuff Have you ever exhibited I a sure many would love to see your work.
That lemon in the glass looks so inviting Cheers!!
Thanks David and Willy above ^ and no the answer is I am afraid no viable to do ,, the galleries round where we live want so much money which kinda works for professional artists selling for decent sums but not for amateur art , by the time I paid the gallery I’d be a lot of money out of pocket that I can’t afford to lose .
Many years ago I was allowed to exhibit in local art group exhibitions and sold some and made a few bob ,, but all three groups have now stopped that unless you pay £30 annually to join which I was prepared to do ,, but you must attend their art group meetings once a year which I am deffo not prepared to do , basically sit amongst a load of old retired people talking about their traumas but nothing much else .
Dont get me wrong these clubs serve a purpose in the retirement area that I live in but it’s not for me thanks
Apologies if I’ve posted this Issan sunset before I can’t remember , but as we are now leaving Issan for home it’s goodbye from us

^I am feeling the energy in that one on the left Nige
Looks like you got the weather, nice
I like the blues in your Lanzarote paintings, Nigel.
Nige its been patchy connection for over a week now but brighten our day and post a pic, hope you are reasonably well and Mrs Nige
Back again with something a bit different , I bought an ols shiny metal beaker in one of the local charity shops and put some summer fruits in front of it and painted it in oils on an 8” square deep edge canvas box .
Ive had a local gallery contact me about displaying my work but she wants me to price everything at about £20/£30 so its sells to the day trippers and turns over quick in her gallery with her taking 20% ,, I told her I’d rather burn it than piss about like that , for some reason people seem to think you can spend 3 hours plus materials generating something original to effectively give it away .
