Little bit of an update ,, some of the local wildlife have appeared plus work has been going on with the water trying to inject a bit of light and life into it.
Should be able to crack on a bit now as I’ve finished building all the ikea wardrobes and wall units in the bedroom

That’s gorgeous.
Finally got there , one thing it’s taught me is to never paint on this scale again as it’s way past my ability areas.
So glad to be able to move onto fresh work now , maybe some still life and some outdoor painting
Apologies to those of you following this one as to the length of time it’s taken , not sure if it was all my radio therapy or my lack of ability but I really struggled at times .
Anyway the excellent news is my strength is gradually coming back managing 12 to 16 thousand steps daily and feeling really good again .
The second pic is to show the size of it , I only just managed to get it in my Citreon Berlingo when I collected it from the art shop .

Thanks very much ,, Jan is happy and that’s the main thing ,, going to give the old conservatory a good old clear out now and a much needed tidy up ,, I’ve been very lax lately and painting in a right mess

I found a couple of these small gold edged frames at a boot sale yesterday , so I thought I’d try and put a little autumnal fruit in them

But would it be an insult to your artistic pedigree to enquire what kind of fruit that is?
It is pear-coloured but shaped half way between a plum and an apple.
What we can be sure of is that there is no salver, silver or otherwise. :D
