How many people in Thailand live on that sort of land with no problems? And why should that be a problem for a Farang with a Thai wife? Yes I did throw money at it - 5000B. Which is what it costs you when they eventually come around to survey it. I was just able to do it quicker through the family but I only paid what I would have to pay anyway plus a big lunch as a thank you. That is how things are done here..
If I was offered some land that was Por Bor Tor 5 from a stranger I wouldn't be interested. If it was offered to my wife and I from my Thai family then that would be different.
