    Kiwi Working Visa

Being a brit I am entitled to go and work in Kiwi land on one of those under thirty working visa things.

I used my one up for Australia already.

I am curious to know if I applied for one again in the UK could I then take the missus as a dependant and go and live the good life over there for a while?

    Any ideas?

Hey! they aren't so bad at that embassy, bout 18 months ago got visa's for Mum and the kids, nice people and easy enough process. We took the maid as well, bit more difficult for her but as The NZ ambassador and I are old sheepos from way back, a bit of name dropping and hey! done already. Will put in aword for Mrs Q tho', don't want that type polluting our fair and pristine land do we?

The Kiwi embassy is the best of all the English speaking countries in Bangkok IME.

MrsQ, a mate of mine works in the consular service there. Let me know if you want me to rough him up a bit and/or ask him some questions on your behalf.

Okay..care to clarify this remark cause it runs contrary to anything I have experienced with the NZ Embassy in the 10 years I've been here..

when you say 'one of the big buggers' are you referring to someone in the embassy here or to someone in NZ?

If here, I stand by my original statement and say again : utter bullshit!

About 3 or 4 of the NZ Immigration staff were fired due to back handers etc....and then a whole lot came under fire for giving out visas to people that they should not have..terrorist types......kow fuking jai kun chalart????

The big bugger that jumped was in WELLINGTON.NZ Immigration is different from the Embassy.

I could go on, but your so fuking smart, please fill in where I left off. It's absolutley amazing that you might have a different opinion than I do.Astonishing really!
