Here's a e mail from UPS, That is bring in some gear at the moment

Not correct, the method for calculate duty. U have to take a insurance 1 % and custom freight plus too, I' m sure in this cost.

    Rgds,
    rip off

    Hi

I dont mind paying but it seems a bit out 434.61 shippment cost and it looks like you have added the postal cost wihich is another 2000 bht

    at 30 % + 7% = 160.80 usd = 5081 bht

    5081+ 306+214+1284= 6885

    Dear Mr Rigger,

Your goods declared in invoice is part of motorcycle,so u have to pay duty 30 % , vat 7% . U have list charges such as,

Duty and vat amount THB 7,260

storage fee till 1-11-07 THB 306.02 ( will be change everyday around THB 67/day)

    Customs Fee THB 214

    Customs formallity handling THB 1,284

    Total charges amount THB 9,064.02

But if u accept to pay ,pls reply this mail , total charge not change . And we acceptable cash only.

U can pay with the driver delivered the package when u arrived in Thailand and convenience.

Hi I found this in my spam folder. Can you tell me what the parcel is and how much duty and when will it be shipped to my home address. Can I pay duty with internet banking

    Thanks

    Rigger

Yep I agree if you send by USPS or normal Thai mail dont be suprised when it doesnt turn up. All so after my last fok around with UPS I would still only recomend DHL.
Also with DHL you can pay the Import tax by internet banking and UPS is all cash.
DHL will tell you what parcel has arrived and whats inside
UPS will just keep sending you e mails asking for money and are thick foks

    Foking rip of cnuts.
I would have shipped it to my work address and carried it in but they get a little bit funny about performance parts here

You nearly paid the same again for it Rigger.

    That's fucked.

You would be cheaper to use some of your time when you are back and fly to singapore and buy things in a day there.
