    Question Passport Verification

Need to get my passport verified so I can open an offshore bank account and actually have access to it.

Don't know any doctors or policemen out here, any ideas?

    Aren't you in Bangkok?
British Embassy should be able to do it for you, I even remember reading somewhere that they have a licensed public notary service.

Waiting for 'buad hai' to jump in with 'it's not in their job description to varify passports'.

I know that the US embassy has a notary service but costs $30 to get them to stamp anything.
But that pobly ain't for a Brit passport.

Just an information post, Take it any way that suits you.
There is other embassy's than Brit embassy's, most country's have em.

But for all I know the Brit embassy might do it for nothing, Brits seem to think they are far superior to everything else that happens in the world.

I say, my dear chap, do watch the jolly old blood pressure!

I don't think that the British Government or it's offices does much for anyone for free, unless the individual concerned is living in Britain, born in another part of the world, and probably doesn't even speak English. If you fall into that category, you will most likely receive all the help and financial assistance possible!

Think it costs about 20 quid to get a notary done at the Brit embassy. Give them a call Scamp.

Alternatively if it can be done by a doctor just go along to a doctors office and pay him a few hundred baht to do it.

Eventually got mine done at an Immigration Office, bank said they'd accept. Cost me 200 B as a thank you. Phone Immigration Office first to make sure they'll do, before you set off.
