    looking for book keeping/acounting

I need someone to do the accounting for my small business, I want to know.

    What should I look for?

Does this person need to be authorized for doing annual reports, or should I split it up, so I have someone doing standard book keeping, and then hire someone externally for doing annual reports?

    How much does it cost?

external monthly book keeping is around 1,000baht per month for a small company, they submit your figures for you for taxation also.

    That low?

Prices might be different in Pattaya and Bangkok?

So then I would also have to buy accountant service when its time for the annual report, or can a book keeper do this also?

That is Pattaya prices, they will do everything for you, you just give them the money.
The company doing your books will have a book keeper or trainee accountant doing the monthly, and an accountant to do the yearly total, this is all included in the monthly price.

Depends on the size of your business. I was paying 1000Baht a month and 15k a year for the tax, work permit, company, licenses and national insurance. He was reliable if there was a problem and everything got done eventually.

All we did was take the monthly receipts and bills and bundle them up. I had my own cash/stock running sheets for each shift for the cashiers to fill out and check each other.

That sounds good, but I would assume it is more expensive in Bangkok.

The company you are talking about, would that be a lawfirm, or do they have specific book keeping accountant companies?

If so, do you know any trustworthy company in Bangkok?
