Thread: UK Visa

My ladyfriend is divorced from her English husband and has a 23 year old daughter living in the UK.
If I want her to come visit me in the UK,this summer,would it be easier for her daughter to write her a letter,inviting her to visit or for me to sponsor her ?
Assuming that her daughter invites her to visit the UK,does she have to show Bank Statements etc to prove she can support her mother while she`s here or does the lady in question have to show she can support herself ? Or can I be named as a sponsor,willing to support her ?
Any help with this query will be most welcome.....

You would need to apply the same as a family member.
You need to give bank statements , letter of invation and you would need to sponsor. She would need to show bank statements letter from her employer, show if she owns any property etc etc.
