If you want to work for £2.00 a day you might get lucky, don't forget your work permit.

no, you won't get any legal work as no work permit would be issued for a plumber

you may be able to get a job with a large international company that is constructing in Thailand, as some sort of supervisor

I would pay you £6 a day for you to work illegally
    I have reported your post

Forget it mate, i`m a pipefitter welder and can plumb. I paid 300 baht a day for "skilled" tradesmen when i built my house and warehouse...I just supervised their work. However, can`t fault you for trying, i`m back in blighty at the mo and rates of pay are shocking!

    for the customer, yes

plumbers have always overcharged, but now there are a few Poles and Lithuanians doing the same job, the rates have come down sometimes

my daughter was charged a £60 call-out, which covered the first hour

the job was simple and took 15 minutes

I don`t do house bashing (domestic plumbing), i do pricework in schools, hospitals etc. In 2008, the last time i worked in the UK, i earned approx £18ph sometimes more when doing specialised welding. Now in 2011 i`m being offered work at £13/£14ph. Got to agree with you about domestic plumbers rates though, just had my boiler serviced + replacement part £135!! Will be glad when my house sells, then i`m back to my loving wife in Isaan.

Yeah i have to agree the polish pricks are getting all the jobs in England now and it has nothing to do with the English being lazy it's all down to company bosses wanting cheap labour!! so i will be turning my back on England ASAP the country is totally F**ked!! but i am still proud of who i am
