Well, Korat hardly lacks industry. Seagate has a huge plant here. And, I think that agricultural chemicals are used quite extensively. Personally, I think that glysophate is pretty safe. Of course, there are those who argue otherwise so the overall picture is unclear.
I used it for years on Saipan because I couldn't control my hectare of jungle without it. Now that I have a postage stamp garden in a moo baan in Korat I haven't had a need for it....
