Split, thanks for the larger plan. Will look at it later. Have to work on bank interiors for bread.
Brilliant stuff folks. Well done.
cupcakes, i have moved the wall in the bathroom left so it goes under the stairs, giving another 900mm to the bathroom. plenty big enough, even put a bloke in there.sorry his not on the crapper.

yes mooney...
but be gentle...
buckets back up, so heres the pic.
Split,
I think you saw my praise for your work earlier. You truly did an outstanding job on your presentation.
My comments are as follows and they are just my opinions:
Ground Floor
-The entrance through the carport diminishes the sense of arrival and welcoming.
-The entry feels a bit tight, not open.
-As pointed out by Moon Cake, both the bedroom and bath are without exposure to the exterior.
Lower Floor
-At the bottom of the stair the view is directly into a wall it looks like. Could it be opened up to have a more stunning view as you reach the bottom.
-Not sure you can tuck a shower under the stair. What is your flr to ceil height throughout? Would be nicer with exterior exposure.
Finally, I think some kind of natural light feature over the stairwell would help provide architectural emphasis to the change of levels.

cheers humbert, i think you and sweetcheeks have picked up on the main issues of the house.
i believe its always good to get others peoples opinions, it helps develop and solve problems which one brain sometimes cannot see.
i will try and solve the issues you both have raised over the next couple of days.
cheers
tick tock tick tock............(my mind)

just remember us artistic types are rather sensitive......I remember BobsKnob not talking to me for a month cos I said one of his artistic photos was crap.
The designs are all quite good. I know this is not necessarily a JJ design need but if it was yours fits the bill best.Originally Posted by Nawty

So did I win ??
could a mod now turn this into a poll for voting please![]()

I have a feeling that… Nawty already finished writing his acceptance speech..![]()

Do I need to start a campaign tail...err trail....

What is "the prize"...Splendid?
beside...fame...and more fame/or more flame?![]()

If you all vote for me.....just think how you will be helping my resume if i can put up winning 'Arse of the year08' and 'designer of the year 09'....

If you vote for moi.....I will deposit "one green" in your account!!![]()

nobody wants your boogers

Well well the world largest booger has just started his campaign tail.
Hey at least mine is packed and freezed in a square, not just any cliffhanger.
I vote conditionally for Mooncakes. She stayed within the requirements and came up with an affordable, charming and effective solution. This home could be built with easily on almost any location. It is funcional, modern and Thai.
The problem is, she is a professional, and probably doesn't need the generous prize of professional renderings. Maybe she could donate her prize to Nawty. That way Mooncake's creativity would be recognized and Nawty's need for more complete design development could be provided.

ooOoo....love what you just said.........in the first part anyway
Here is "a joob" for you, Humbert![]()

Greens are a very cheap way of trying to win votes....very cheap and demeaning.
I promise more pics of AOTY08 if I win.

bwahahaha!... Call me “a recession chic”
and
Nobody wants a nightmare anyway, even if it’s free.![]()
