I have studied solar power in depth because Thailand is the ideal place to harness it. Unfortunately it is far from cheap. In addition to the panels there is need for a battery bank and this can easily cost 40 - 50 thousand baht. It is necessary to have a controller for maintaining the charge in the batteries and the last piece of equipment is an inverter which converts the solar power (DC) to AC for use in the home.

I recommend that you search YouTube for "off grid" power and watch as many videos as you can. I find them entertaining even though the reality is that I am unlikely to spend the money on it. You have a greater incentive as your land does not have grid electricity and it might well be suitable for you. Sadly, you will get little encouragement from Thais to use it and this is for a whole variety of reasons.
