Washers? the same problem exists with wood screws, I have almost failed to find good quality wood screws in Thailand. I think I will start to import them.

Recently, the Home Pro at The Mall in Korat started carrying decent wood screws....

Get the stainless ones, the wood is too hard here for normal wood screws and wood drill bits.
