Well I definitely have a ' Blind Spot ' when people are explaining stuff .... and ESPECIALLY when they start raising their voice and saying in an exasperated way " But it's EASY ! "

So I sympathise with everybody else who has a problem .

But I followed Betty's guidance and Honest to God it takes me less than 60 seconds to send a photo to Photobucket , get its URL , and then post it in TD .

    I haven't tried other methods .
People assure me that Picasa is easier - but this is quick enough for me so I don't want to experiment .

As you say ..... if it works ...... then fine .

O.K., I opened a Gallery account last night. 2 hours later and numerous head poundings, nothing worked.

The one and only time I was ever successful posting a pic was using the Photobucket approach mentioned by Betty and detailed by Wasp here. Seems the Mods edited out previous advice or instructions regarding posting photos.

BTW, what happened to the "New photo posting method," posted as coming attractions two months ago?

Anyway back to the drawing boards and photobucket.

    Thanks

Barges along the Mekong near Chiang Kong. 56 kilometers from the build. That's Lao on the opposite side from the barges. BTW, Wasp/Terry/Betty I backed into this posting from yet a different location on the url scroll.

The workers have arrived to clear the land of its trees, bamboo and weeds. The beginnings of the build. I skipped over the search for the land and the 3 or 4 trips to the land office for title and survey for Chanote. 1 year to complete all that paper work. I was really happy to begin finally. We had 17 workers, almost all were family or very close friends of the wife.

Plan View of second floor. We altered the overall size of the rooms as well the kitchen and bath size. You'll see the difference when we get to it. Our main interest was to have lots of open space for outside viewing as well as breezeway. Rooms are all oversized except the guest bedroom which is more of a storage area than human habitation at present.

This is the roof line. East is to the left and of course north is to the bottom. The roof has been a major piece of this construction. Huge area to cover and so far only a couple birds trying to nest.

Hey, I have a lot of help. It isn't perfected yet, but I'm catching on. Thanks all.

I want to load an entire folder at one time to Photobucket, but haven't figured that one out yet. One at a time is good, but time consuming. Must be a way?

Laying out the run for the fenceline. This is on the north side of the property before clearing the jungle growth. 4 rai total. We built on the high ground to the south after leveling off. This is the lowest point of the property.

My best way for placing photos (although in a barbarian language but understandable for anyone) - no registration, directly working:
666kb.com - Gratis Speicherplatz fr Bilddateien

Finding the photo in your PC by browsing, click on "Speichern" (save): Then copy the appeared link into your thread, enjoy the creation...

Small sample of the jungle growth and bamboo we had to clear before we could even begin to think about the configuration of the land relative to the house. tough going for the men and women, but all had a happy day together and shared a lot of good vibrations during this part of the build. Hated to clear it all, but I agreed to let the original owner take the standing trees and gave the bamboo to my BIL.
