    Best camera for home chat

I'm looking for a camera that we could install in the living room to chat with my family back home.

    Any recommandation ?

Any advise about a system easy to use (soft and hardware) is welcomed. My parents are 80+, my brother can set up the system, but later we need something basic they can operate by themselves.
The things we regret most is the things we didn't do

I'm not sure a camera would be of much use. Try a webcam.

I hate to admit that, but I guess you're right.

So, any advises for a webcam that will take pictures that look good on a big display ?

    on your big display ?

logitech does a real 1.3meg sensor 720p USB webcam for less than 1k baht.

but then you have to start thinking about bandwidth etc

what computer setup do they have at their television ?

actually - on your parents end a 300$-400$ Android 7-10inch tablet with a 1.3 meg front facing camera and wifi might fit the bill - using skype
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

as baldrick indicated, "LOGITECH" is a leader in web cams and for anyone who has some familiarity with computers can set one up easily. I'm guessing for your 80+parents all they need is for someone to show and demonstrate how to operate it once it is set up for them. The "Logitech" web cams I've used are easy and just require a click on the green phone icon when there is a call coming in (if like I said, it is properly set up in advance) but again, I guessing that there would be someone else present to assist your parents when the planned time for a call has been established.
