I remember having one of these bad boys. I think it was one of the first digital phones out there. Also it had interchangeable fascia.
I had something like this back in 98, with 128mgbt HD. The mutts nits in its day.

I remember when 10Mb drives were the size of a large washing machine (showing my age there, despite what the Belgian retard thinks).
I didn't own a laptop until about 2005, a Dell Inspiron 80gb HD and 1gb RAM, was about £500, so it's pretty amazing to see that just 7 years previous, 5gb HD and 45mb RAM was £4,300. I know about Moore's law of course, but that period '98-'05 must have shown a greater than average development in capacity/cost.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
In the early 80's, I used to work as an intern for STC, later Storage Tek. Things have changed a lot since ...
I remember specifically an old IT manager when the first PC arrived in his company, a big bank centre. He was scared of the implications. I remember him saying "but users will be able to do what ever they want, it's going to be the anarchy ..."![]()
