    For you Harry

Windows Phone Mango (WP7.5) Hits RTM

Microsoft's Mango update for Windows Phone 7 has finally hit release to manufacturing, which means it's only a matter of time before we see Mango handsets on the horizon.

Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 Mango update, officially called Windows Phone 7.5, has hit the release to manufacturing stage (RTM), which means everything is on schedule for us to see Mango-toting devices this coming fall.

"Earlier this morning, the Windows Phone development team officially signed off on the release to manufacturing (RTM) build of “Mango” – the latest version of the Windows Phone operating system," Microsoft's Terry Myserson said via the Windows blog. "This marks the point in the development process where we hand code to our handset and mobile operator partners to optimize Mango for their specific phone and network configurations," he continued, adding that the Windows Phone team is now preparing for the update process.

Microsoft whipped users into a frenzy over Mango back at its MIX conference in April of this year and officially took the wraps off Mango in May. Features on offer with Mango include hardware-accelerated IE9 with HTML5; enhanced multitasking capabilities; Twitter in the People hub; better support for Office documents in SkyDrive; Threads, which brings together text, IM, and Facebook chat into one conversation; and Conversation View for email.

    I'll wait for the reviews.

Ability for working with M$ office stuff don't impress on a phone. Are they bringing anything new to the table?

    Sabaii you're a bit of a tosser. I opened a WP7 thread ages ago.

Read it will you, instead of doing a very poor impression of a smartarse.

You're starting to sound like Butters.

Oh, I get it. You missed this, even though you posted in the thread (Try out a Windows 8 Desktop Experience):

By the way, if WP7 was Mobile's Vista, then the "Windows 7" version of WP7 is already released to manufacturers and will probably appear in the next few weeks. It should give us more of a pointer as to what Windows 8 will look like.
You really are a clueless c**t.

^ No need for the "And Socal" bit

I like the way it came 2 mins after the post before I got this picture of you sitting there all agitated, shaking your head

I tried your Windows 8 thing

Seems suited to tablets only IMO,
    You lose your screensaver too

My desktop has a touchscreen, what a frigin stupid idea that is, when it has a 23 inch screen and wireless mouse and keyboard.
Just a gimmick for making collages

    You'd like it

I don't know if it's waterproof though, as I hear you like to lick em

You're right, I take that back. There was no need for that kind of abuse, it was the beer talking.

Butters it's still better than your speciality, which, as we all know, is swallowing ladyboy's jizz.
