Yes, Firefox 4 is crap. No doubt this is the reason they are saying that they are making releases much quicker now. Firefox 5 is in reality probably only a partial bug fix for Firefox 4.

What happens if you try it now? Perhaps they are fucking around with Windows Live to add some Skype functionality.

Ironically I just dipped in and out of a couple of Live accounts and had no problem at all on FF4.

Perhaps they are trying to force you to upgrade.

Try using it with a Windows 7 phone. It's superb for backing up your contacts.

Once you've synced it, you can forget it, and if you lose the phone, you just buy a new one, log in and your contacts are put back again.

It's one WP7 feature that is not matched for simplicity by either Android or the iphone IMHO. One of the few things Microsoft get spot on.

Android certainly does this with your gmail contacts..

The Android just works, if I add or update a contact on either my phone or the PC, then the other one is put in sync without me having to do anything.
