Looking for a sytem restore program

I have a public computer and I need a program that is easy to use that will basically take an image of the hard drive after a fresh clean install, and then every time the computer is rebooted restore it to that image. Meaning that any new programs, files, or viruses will be deleted. There is no need for a backup of files to be made, I want them deleted to be assured of getting rid of the viruses.

I used to use Norton GoBack, but it has a limit of 8 gb of usage before it automatically reboots, and now that memory cards are bigger, it is hard to come under that limit when copying photos etc. to cds or dvds.

    Any suggestions?

Yes, it was some "expert tech" in a thread dubbed:

"Turn your PC into something about as flexible as a manual typewriter"

Good idea for a simple public use Internet station type jobby though.

A LiveCD without write access to any hard drive does it well. Just reboot the LiveCd and it's done. Many GNU/Linux brands available.

    Windows I don't know.
