    Malware AntiMalware Bytes Update Error

I've been using MalwareBytes AntiMalware for a while and it seems to catch more dodgy, possible trojans, than other similar programs. Now they've upped to a new version 1.46 and after installing I'm getting this error when I try to download the latest spyware definitions.

On their website they say it's a Symantec problem so I've done a permit all on every MBAM file. Still doesn't work. They also suggest using a proxy server to update. That doesn't work either.

    Any ideas ?

Looks like it's a Norton problem. The fix they suggest doesn't work for me, which is turn off "Privacy Control".

To update MalewareBytes Antimalware I have to disable Norton Internet Security.

Anyone can tell you Norton is a sack of shit; McAfee is even worse.

But I asked Butters a simple question, viz:

Please oh wise one - tell us which is the best (without having to Google it).
And he can't answer without Googling it.
